Bronson G3 Skateboard bearings are $12 more expensive than Bones Reds skateboarding bearings. But are the Bronson G3 Skateboard bearings any better than the bones reds skateboard bearings. I've always skated the bones reds skateboard bearings but now i've been on the Bronson G3 Skateboard bearings for two months and I think they feel better. The bones reds skateboard bearings feel great to start and then diminish a little where the Bronson G3 Skateboard bearings feel brand new two months later and even after being left out in the rain. I'm glad I said goodbye to bones reds skateboard bearings and tried the Bronson G3 Skateboard bearings. Hope this video was helpful to you!

What is your favorite bearing? Bones, Bronson, andalé? Other?

Fun fact Bronson G3 had issues with their cages shattering when they first came out. I got in touch with NHS Funfactory and helped them redesign the cages by being a product tester for them. It was awesome, and I did it for 2 years until i tore my achilles tendon.

Yep! The G3’s have stayed fast and lasted me longer than any other bearing I have ever used! The funny thing is that I wasn’t all that crazy about them at first, but now it’s all I ride lol!

When it comes to bearings I tried bones reds, g3s, and Olympia. I skate a really crusty DIY former tennis court spot that I made so there is a bunch of dust and dirt. Olympia bearings were the only ones to not crap out after 2 months of skating. In my experience the g3s seized up after a week of skating. Then again most of you are hitting parks so maybe I got a bad batch ooorrrr it just comes with riding DIY stuff.

Just got g3s yesterday. I will say there IS a difference over reds, quality is higher you can just feel it in your hands, tighter tolerance, better seals. The inner spacers are nice too. The board sounds different and pops different subtly, more solid sound? Probably because the nuts are able to tighten down and hold the wheel better idk . and they are noticable smoother / faster, i skate the same lot daily with this rough patch on the run up to a curb and first go my normal run up i had waay more speed. The hype is real?

Been skating my g2s with the shield popped for over a year without cleaning them. And I skate a crusty ass park. Still spin so well. The pairs reds I’ve used forever through my years of skating never held up as long or spun as well

I got Bronsons cuz I found some Reds and the dude at my local store kept it real with me that Bronsons were a cheaper comp to the Swisses and I can feel it ‼️💯

I am a lifer. First tried the G2s and they were good, better than reds. Now I have the raws which I love and are now my favorite. They spin and makes that noise. I will be getting the Ceramics in a week.

I started skating in the early 80's. I got a used crap setup. I kept most of it for next few setups. I never had new bearings until the early 90's lol. I don't remember if I EVER got a new set of bearings....I never had one break or stop working. If I did, I just got old ones from a friends to replace the worn bearing.

When I skated years ago when I was 15 I used reds from what I remember they were pretty decent, now that I got back into skating. I tried Bronson on my longboard and bomb hills with it. Bearings have been through puddles and dirt and still run good and their the g2s I’m setting up a vert/bowl skateboard and throwing g3s can’t wait to try them out

love a good lubed bearing. i clean my bearings as soon as i start hearing any kind of noise from my bearings. which is usually every 3 weeks. ive had the same pair of reds on my street deck for over a year still smooth. im going to try the g3s now.

Bronson bearing are the best in the bearing game. Reds use to be the great, but recently the quality is not as good as they used to be.

Interesting. I've been riding the bones big balls .. basically Chinese version of the ceramics...only a few bucks more...really liking them but may give these a go next. Bronson definitely has a tad team aswell! ✌️
