Quick Specs On The GearKlamp : A Bessey Product

Here is a quick spec video on BESSEY’s GearKlamp. Yes this is a little bit of a teaser and yes there will be more to come. In leu of people leaving certain comments…I thought I’d take some time to answer the ones that I get on videos like this.

To fit your clamping needs…the GearKlamp comes available in 4 different clamping capacities which range between 6 and 24 inches.

The weight of each clamp will vary by its length but as you can see here the largest GearKlamp weighs in at just over 2 pounds.

All versions of this clamp have a throat depth of 2-(3/8)” and can exert a clamping force of up to 450lbs.

The GearKlamp features a 2K handle around the clamping rail allowing it to clamp in tighter spaces and it also acts as the driving force for the gears inside the clamp.

The quick-release shift button is easy to engage and allows you to quickly adjust the clamping face on the sliding bar.

For optimal clamp performance…the gear train of the clamp is fully enclosed to keep dust and debris out.

The included swivel head and clamp pad are removable as well. Removing the clamp pad let’s you utilize the crossed v-grooves on the fixed jaw to hold round, pointed, or angular components.

I have heard the plastic gears might be the weak link in these clamps. I really like these clamps. They look good to me. I plan on buying a set. Great videos.
