China has built the world's highest bridge

China’s new Beipanjiang Bridge is being hailed as the highest in the world. Connecting the mountainous provinces of Yunnan and Guizhou, the deck of the span is 565 metres (1,850ft) above the Beipan River – a height that could fit Shanghai’s World Financial Centre.

China's infrastructure projects have always impressed me. I've seen/read about this bridge before and the most impressive part is that it's not even in a rich province, and the demand for that route isn't that high either. I wish US infrastructure would get back on track. The national highway and NYC subway were all impressive when built, but now it takes forever to repair or build anything new.
