''No, I can't.'' Selena whispered, pushing past Logan and Miley, leaving the both of them confused.

Logan did not remember anything else about the night of that high school party.

Especially what Logan had done to get the anger out.

He was drunk that night, he couldn't have possibly known what he had done.

What he didn't know, couldn't hurt him or make him feel guilty.

But what Selena knew and what she felt? It hurt her.

Logan was right. When something was wrong, Selena ran.

She ran away from all her problems.

She ran away from all her fears.

This time, she ran away from Logan.

A few months pasted, while college continued

Logan attended his classes, studied, and worked hard.

Selena had been missing from the day he asked her to be his.

Logan assumed she was taking at home, taking her classes. He could never build up the courage to visit her, or to face her.

He felt ashamed for some unknown reason.

But, today was the day. He would visit Selena, he would ask her what's wrong, he would see her beautiful face again.

Logan walked up to the front porch of the old house. He admired the flowers that lined around the covered entrance. He rang the doorbell and waited patiently for someone to open the door.

''Logan! My dear!'' Mrs. Gomez said, pulling Logan into a hug.

Logan hugged back, ''Hey Mrs. Gomez''.

''How have you been? How's college?'' The woman questioned politely, inviting Logan to come in.

''It's good. I'm passing my classes.'' He told her, scanning the unchanged surroundings.

''Well, it's great to see you again! I was just about to head out.'' Mrs.Gomez said while searching for her keys.

''Oh, it's fine. I was just wondering if Selena was here.'' He asked, helping her look.

Mrs. Gomez found her keys under the sofa, ''Yeah. She's upstairs.''

Logan smiled at the lady, ''Thank you.'' He said politely while making his way up to Selena's room.

He knocked on the door softly, to find no answer.

Logan slowly pushed open the door, to find it empty. He scanned the room and took in his surroundings. He remember when he kissed Selena against the wall, He remembered when he comforted her on the bed. He missed her terribly, and it took him this long to admit it to himself.

''Logan?'' Selena gasped softly, looking at the boy in her room.

Logan's head quickly turned to find Selena standing in the doorway.

She was more beautiful than ever.

''Hey. Please don't run, we need to talk.'' He said, making his way towards her.

Selena's body stiffened, ''About?''

''Why you ran.'' Logan stated.

''Why I ran?'' Selena asked, raising an eyebrow.

Logan nodded.

Selena scoffed, ''I ran because that night of that night when you almost pushed me too far. I ran because you came to me the next day, drunk as fuck, and you told me how you felt about me. I ran because that day when you asked me to be your girlfriend, I was scared. I ran because I can't face you without getting lost in your eyes. I ran because I'm in love with you.'' Selena yelled in frustration.

Logan looked at her intensely.

''Okay fine! Just stand there and look at me!'' She screamed with a few tears streaming down her face.

Logan wiped away her tears softly with his thumb.

He cuffed her face with his hands.

''I know I may not be perfect, I know I make mistakes, I know that I'm probably no good for you,'' Logan started.

He pulled Selena closer and kissed her lips gently.

''But I'm willing to try because I love you too.''
