Welcome to the Pretty Intense Podcast with our guest Sara Walker. Sara is an Astro - Biologist, and a theoretical physicist. Sara is most interested in the origin of life. Where did we come from? Why are we here? Potential life on other worlds. Sara's intelligence can be intimidating, but there is no other way to learn, except to get outside what you already know. Today's interview was a very interesting, enlightening, confusing, about life, and how it came to be. Exploring concepts of biology, quantum physics, space and time. Time is of great interest to Sara. Considering if time exists, and is it the causal platform to create life and Universes. If you are into science, and how life began, you are going to be riveted to this episode with Sara Walker.

Sara Walker is a theoretical physicist and astro-biologist working new theory of physics that might allow us to understand what life is, its general characteristics, it's origin on Earth, and how to find alien examples. At Arizona State University she is the deputy director of the Beyond Center for Fundamental Concepts in Science, associate director of the ASU-SFI Center for Biosocial Complex Systems, and associate professor in the School of Earth and Space Exploration and the School of Complex Adaptive Systems. Absolutely great topic and conversation. These are topics I am very interested. I think you don’t have to worry about your intelligence. You are doing great with the questions and your guests provide great answers. At the end - we do not have all the answers as humanity, but we are trying 🙂 Trying is good 👍

Thank you Danica for having Sara on your podcast its nice to hear a meaningful conversation instead of some Hollywood dumbing down celebrity BS. Also enjoyed the conversation you had with Mr. Greer and Degrasse Tyson. Keep up the good work.

Danica, I learnt so much from this interview… blew my mind!
I appreciated Sara’s explanations and concepts for evolving biospheres.
And I really appreciated how you handled this interview… such a complex subject but you were right there keeping up with her and striking a great balance between probing and allowing her to flow.
There is no limit to who you can interview!

EVERYTHING has some level of consciousness.
When humans achieve a high status of consciousness they are capable of psychokenesis, telepathy, telekenisis, remote viewing and much much more.
GREAT podcast Danica!
True scientist are the ones that never say the science is settled, as it is Never settled.
Keep learning.

Wow... this podcast was Pretty Intense! These are the same kind of ideas, thoughts, and concepts that are constantly running through my mind; and are often the reason I don't get enough sleep! Danica, you are absolutely amazing - intelligent, funny, and deeply curious about the nature of life and reality; such a beautiful soul! I really love your podcasts! You do such a great job at selecting your guests... and the topics you choose to discuss with them are perfect! Keep up the great work!

I'm incredibly encouraged by the fact that Sara Walker started her college education at community college. As a scientific / technical employee of a Fortune 50 company, I recruited people, and was very happy to find candidates who had started at community college and then gone on to get advanced degrees - a very practical way to do that.
Also, seeing Woolfram's "New Kind of Science" behind Dr. Walker on her bookcase - cool!

Danica I've considered myself very much a student of the universe. I'm an old soul with a deep passion to study the intersection between science, philosophy, and spirituality...I'm so impressed with your mind and you truly are making this world a better place...thank you Danica 💪🤓🙏

Another awesome podcast that opens and expands the mind! So much more informative, and healthier to watch than the daily news. I'm still watching. One question asked near the beginning of this podcast made me think back to one of my own experiences. What experience from your past led you to take this path? I had a UFO experience when I was seven and ever since then I've always tried to find an explanation. Kind of like the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind where Richard Dreyfuss becomes obsessed with the image in his head after his encounter and builds a mock Devils Tower in his living room. I haven't built anything in my home but the quest for understanding science and UFO possibilities has been with me for 60 years. This podcast really opened new doors in thinking. Such as triangles, and seeing things we can't see using microscopes and telescopes, different dimensions, etc. You're pushing the envelope Danica and your guests like Sara Walker are truly amazing!!! Smart! Thank you.
