Trying to REGENERATE Land | A slight feeling of URGENCY

Episode one-hundred and eighteen, in which we are creating a so called fleard, by moving sheep and cattle together. Somehow I accidentally deleted all that we had captured for what was supposed to be episode 118. I guess we will never se that.

This is a vlog about our struggles and joys of living off the grid in the forests of Jämtland, Sweden.

Every parent should watch this with their children to see how you work together as a familiar. Learning starts early and Ivar has been taught from the beginning how to work with you. He has positive role models - kudos to you as parents! That’s how I learned, too.

Rambunctious steers! Field shifting always gets them excited. Mowing can stimulate regrowth on the pasture. Cows and sheep can be grazed together. They do have somewhat different tastes.
Good to see you all doing well! It does look like you could use a border collie!

It makes me smile when you talk about how poor the grass is… here in SW Spain we only have green grass in winter and early spring. We have horses eating the hay which we don’t bother cutting.. they just eat it right off the ground. We also haven’t had much rain 💁 and the situation is unlikely to improve much.. when the rain finally comes the ground is so hard it just runs away, causing damaging floods usually 😏 we may need to rethink our farming methods everywhere.. great video.. love seeing you chase the lambs ❤

It's always a good day when I see a new Talasbuan video pop up! You never disappoint! Thank you for sharing your journey... the sense of urgency is high these days for so many of us!

As always delightful to watch. The lambs sound like crying babies 👶 which they are. A beautiful sound. The bath in that fresh water looks divine, maybe a tad cold. We are in winter in SA Australia, so I'm not sure how warm your spring/ summer is. Yes, the past 3 years have been horrendous for us. I'd love to be in your location free as a bird 🐦. You are always calm and inspiring ❤. Thank you 😇.

Never realized until I watched you both herding the lambs into their paddocks that regenerative farming was so involved. You both deserve much praise for your hard work. Learned much in this video about your planned goals. I bet that beer was good. And, that dip into the cold water at each day's end! 🙏🏼 ❤

Your sense of urgency is healthy. Your preparations should help to calm you down a bit. That is what we all are doing. Your animals are beautiful. Your farm is beautiful. Your son is beautiful. The rains will come.

Gratitude to the 2 of you for sharing. I can sense your exhaustion and the frustration of the lost footage and the biting of the mosquitoes. This life you have chosen has challenges but I know in my heart that the feeling of freedom of being your own bosses and creating and giving life to your own projects by making this Earth better makes it all worth it. Courage, my friends, courage! Lots of good vibes and loving energies to the three of you 💙💙💙

Good job! It looks amazing, how you are handling the animals and also to keep them in a natural environment with parts of the forest. Keep on going!

These are the happiest animals I've ever seen. 😊 Maybe I don't see a lot of cows often enough, but I'm sure I've never seen them jumping and running and playing with each other before this. Mathias makes happy animals...keep up the great work. You are always ready to learn something new, that's what makes you a great farmer.😊

We are in drought status as well. We have had a few light rains but certainly not what is needed. Climate is definitely changing. Great job working with what you have. Hopefully it’s having a wider effect on the world.

love that yall have so many books. maybe make the current cabin a library when you get the bigger house built. that way you have plenty living space but also a quiet space you can go read/study. I enjoy your videos!
