The top 7 moments of this season:
1. The incredible overtake maneuver by Pollo Loco in Race 6.
2. Comeback of Ghost Plasma.
3. The largest margin of victory ever, achieved by RN3 in Race 5.
4. Dragon's Egg stoppage due to fatigue in Race 1.
5. CCE not getting to the overall podium after getting the highest amount of medals.
6. MMM losing two great races in a row after going off the track in Race 2 and then getting stuck in the middle of Race 3.
7. "False" start two races in a row.

Multiscrime

Where RN3 excels is with the in-traffic battles. He's honed in on when to draft, when to juke, and, if necessary, when to muscle. Sure, he has good-not-great speed, but it's his peloton work that gives him consistent top-10 finishes. I mean, he started in 20th position twice this season and still got results. Love him or hate him, you have to admire that he's done his homework. I think a lot of other marbles need to hit the film room and buckle down more on figuring out how to exploit their opponents' tendencies.

Watching this again giving me a better understanding on why RN3 is such a legends. Yeah, sometimes he wins by miles ahead the competitor. But we often forget he has always been skillful and entertaining to watch. His technique slipping past other racer is outstanding. He is the one that can raise from the back of the pack to top 10.

He is much more than just a winner. He is a hardworking marble. He is a legend.

Red number 3 once told me.
That when he was young and still in school. All the other marbles made fun of him for having a hole in the middle of him. Then he told me. That he promised himself and all the marbles who picked on him. That one day he would make it as a big time marble racer. And that he would one day be a back to back champion. Skip forward all these years later. Here he is...Big time marble racer and back to back champion. He sure did prove all the haters wrong!

I absolutely love how our brains our able to personify marbles to this degree. We give them an identity, we root for unsure victories and we attribute qualities and have a feeling that certain marbles possess skill. Just goes to show how our brains are like self-writing software and can even get a thorough understanding of performance of marble relative to other marbles in certain conditions without having a clue why one marble is more suited for a terrain than another
