yess everything in albania and kosovo is very cheap it’s kinda great honestly. homecooked byrek is just another experience, man. also the meat typically used is beef. so the meat was probably beef. meat byrek is pretty much everyone in my family’s favorite lollll it really depends where you get it from but byrek is honestly hard to mess up.

Best Byrek I had was in Berat, it was byrek me fasule (byrek with beans) and byrek me oriz (byrek with rice). Definitely best food for the price, I miss me some Greek souvlaki.
