try this 7 minute fix before you spend 300+ on a new instruments cluster. 7mims to take it apart+

This was the only thing that has worked to fix the constant language scrolling problem, it should work amongst most GM vehicles. the unplug the battery unplug the instrument cluster did not help this literally is the only way that has helped. try this 7 minute fix before you spend 300+ on a new instruments cluster .

Just did this fix. WOW, it worked. I patiently did everything according to your video, held my breath, said a silent prayer & closed my eyes as I turned the key. BINGO, just like new.
Thank you & thank your buddy too.
Oh, happy day.

This video is saved me. I had the scolling and thought I was gonna have to pay for a rebuild. 10 mins fix and it was done.

Wow. This worked for me, i have never been so optimistic about something, i have been a mechanic for 12 years. And i put my hand on the back as it was scrolling. And the second my hand touched it, it stopped. I was mind blown. Thanks again

Was having issues with my 2006 chevy silverado 2500 reading in every language but English and draining the battery. Watched this video a few months ago and never did anything about it. Just said this was to easy of a fix. Until today! I took out the cluster and all of the connections / soldering looks good. There was some dust and debris on the connections so i cleaned all of the back good with a tooth brush and vacuumed around real good. Presto seems to be working good. Thanks for making this video. I would probably still be chasing down this problem.

Great idea. Not sure if his description was what fixed mine but I did what he said 2 times and it fixed mine. Crazy. Well done and thanks for this tip. Give it a try if you have this issue.

No way it actually worked. I did get a little shock off of one of the pins but nothing to bad. This fix is magic and you would never think it works but holy crap it does!

Thank you so much! Your video helped fix my problem on my 2004 Silverado. Only extra step needed was I had to use a toothbrush to rub the back instead of just my hand.

Worked for me. Not sure if it was the rub down or just unplugging and plugging back on but i did both.
