Sony games like Last of Us Part 2, Ghost of Tsushima and God of War Ragnarok would not be possible as a Day One service. If Day One games when Sony has to downgrade the experience I don't want it

Ryan is right about the false equivalency. All the acquisitions Sony have done over the last decade don't add up to the size of the Bethesda deal Microsoft did a couple of years ago, let alone the other acquisitions of individual studios Microsoft also did. Sony built up their #1 position over decades by producing unmatched content. Microsoft just buying up whatever is popular is not the same.

I’m definitely interested in the idea of a smaller/slimmer ps5 with a detachable blu ray drive. It would be sweet to see this model be close to the ps4 in size but without all the audible noises.

I bought the tracks for Beat Saber on PSVR. I don't mind paying for the game on PSVR2 but I sure do hope the tracks carry over.

Satya comparing a $70B publisher to single studios that had a history of working with Sony is so decieving and stupid. Specially when the main reason why Sony started buying devs was because Microsoft bought Bethesda and started this awful consolidation stage in the industry.

I don't understand why people still think there's going to be a PS5 Pro. The PS4 Pro was only released because when the PS4 was launched, Sony decided to make it a FHD 1080p resolution only console since 4K (UHD 2160p) TVs weren't widely owned at the time. But then the price of 4K TVs became cheaper & thus became more widely owned. So Sony decided to release a 4K HDR update of the current generation console. That's not the case this time around. Almost nobody owns 8K TVs this time around either, so Sony was in the same exact predicament as last generation.

However, this time around they decided to future proof their next Gen PS5 console & make it capable of up to an 8K resolution. Therefore there's simply no need for a PS5 Pro. There most likely will be however a PS5 Slim & Super Slim model releasing in the near future. Just as Sony did with their PS1, PS2, PSP, PS3, PSVita & PS4 consoles.

I have no problem buying second-hand game discs. Don't care about digital only. Would be a huge mistake to reduce the quality of the games just so that they would part of a monthly subscription.

I think the reason for the bundle PS5 is to streamline production. Instead of making 2 PS5s, next year they might have a single PS5 to worry about producing.
