Got my girl pregnant at 17, I was 18, we didn’t have anything, no job, no money, no plan, but we loved the hell out of each other. We were both poor kids, never had much and didn’t have one of those family names you need to succeed in a small town. But we had each other and that was good enough. 10 years later were married, we have 3 kids now, and a dog.. we both have great careers... a house on some land and we just bought her granddads farm back... From very humbled beginnings, Weber stuck it out, thru thick and thin, and today my love for her is more than it’s ever been. This song hits me hard, because it’s so true. Just felt like sharing my life story. True love does exist. It’s not always pretty, but it’s always worth it.

I was married and pregnant at 19. Head over heels for the only man I ever knew. Ten years, four kids later...we dont have much. But the love yall....there is so much love. I feel so blessed to be married to a man that is everything this song describes and more. The world and all its riches dont mean nothing. I just need God and my family. This song stops me in my tracks every time and makes me realize how incredibly blessed I am. I only thought I loved him when we were younger. I love him more today then I ever knew I could...

My wife and I started out sleeping on a blanket under the stars until the weather got cold then we slept in her explorer on a air mattress . We got married and were blessed with our daughter . Moved into a income based apartment. I worked full time while she went to school for her RN degree. She graduated we moved to another apartment . Then to a nicer apartment . Then we bought our first home and we’re doing pretty good . I went to school and along the way we were blessed with our son . I graduated with my RN degree. We started with nothing but love and now we have built an amazing life . It’s hard but very doable . Love and hard work and God is all you need . Doesn’t matter where you start .

This song reminds me of my parents so much. It gets me every time at the “Baby there ain’t no shame in bein poor.” My parents worked hard to make things better than they were for them growing up. I make decent money but I’m a working man. I weld and hang iron. I like what I do and it provides a good living for my family. We aren’t rich but we do ok. Our society looks down on working people. I’m proud to be one of them.

One of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard. Literally brings tears to my eyes. My parents lived in a pink and white dilapidated trailer that almost burned down one day because of a faulty kerosene heater. Forty years later I am very successful because of everything they did for me and my brothers. RIP Dad, I think of that pink and white trailer often and all the sacrifices you made for us.

This song speaks to millions of people throughout the world, because for us, the ones it's touched, we've all gone through what Whiskey Myers sing about in this song. Guys, if ever there was a song for the working man, you just nailed it!

If you stumbled in to the music of Whisky Myers like I did a year or two ago. I recommend you check out more of their music. These guys are a talented group that play a southern rock that combines rock and country like no other band. If you listen to music often and find yo get inspired, motivated, fired up, rocked out, etc. Look no further Some how this band covers all the bases with their music.

Maxed out my college card to to rent a hotel room for our honeymoon. After the wedding her parents didn't come to, first place we stayed was a twin bed in my friend's garage. 15 years, 5 kids on earth, 2 in heaven and a lot of "don't know how we're gona make it this month but God always shows up." Now we have more than enough to give away. By God's grace, we get to be trees that provide shade for others. Work like everything depends on you, pray like everything depends on God...she's still hot as hell by the way 😉

This song is about so many people. Working hard, doing the right thing. Unsung American heroes keeping this place running.

Straight to the heart. Even for those who never lived in a trailer, if you know the struggle of trying to scratch out a living especially as a young family.... this song says it all.

This song means so much to me. I raised my girls in a trailer with no electricity and no doors. They are now 25 and 23 and we have a beautiful home. I can provide them something I never could before but this song touches my soul. Thank you so much for singing it.

I stumbled up on this song, listening to their albums. Just, wow. I had to stop my car and listen again, with tears flowing. Lyrics blew me away. Such beautifully written narrative, touching literally & figuratively, what's the most important in life.
Deeply moving, humbling text. Absolutely a brightest, shining diamond amongst their whole song list!
Greetings from the Netherlands.
