OBSERVATIONS: BLUTHAUS - Behind the scenes
Schreckliche Dinge geschehen im Bluthaus, die Menschen sind in Aufruhr. In dieser Sonderausgabe der Observations zum Ja, Mai-Festival werden die Verantwortlichen dafür also zum Verhör geladen: Librettist Händl Klaus beschreibt, worum es in der Geschichte, die er über eine Frau namens Nadja verfasst hat geht und welche Klanglichkeit die Musik von Georg Friedrich Haas dem Ganzen entgegenhält. Regisseur Claus Guth legt indes seinen Zugang zum Stück dar und erläutert, mit wie er versucht hat mit den verschiedenen Ebenen von Gegenwart und Vergangenheit im Stück umzugehen. Am Ende wird vielleicht kein Stein mehr auf dem anderen stehen und die Protagonistin wird in einer Polizeistation aufwachen, nur weil sie ihr Haus verkaufen wollte.

Terrible things are happening in the blood house, people are upset. o in this special edition of Observations for the Ja, Mai festival are called in for interrogation: Author of the Libretto, Händl Klaus, describes what the story he wrote about a woman named Nadja is about, and what tonality Georg Friedrich Haas' music contrasts with it all. Director Claus Guth, explains his approach to the piece and how he has tried to deal with the different levels of present and past in the piece. In the end, perhaps not one stone will be left on another and the protagonist will wake up in a police station, just because she wanted to sell her house.
