People don't understand how desserts and baking work at all. Single serving recipes are rare for people with families to make, and most desserts are made with large portion sizes to be shared among multiple people.

I've see someone call a batch of cookies "diabetes" because the baker used two sticks of butter 💀 Like yeah?? It makes like... 24 cookies??

For those who don't know much about diabetes, there are 2 types. Type 1 is an autoimmune disease in which our lymphocytes attack the B cells of the pancreas. These B cells produce insulin, the hormone that lowers our blood sugar. As there is no production of insulin, people with the condition have to take insulin throughout their lives to control their blood sugar. Type 1 occurs in childhood or adolescence. Then we have type 2, which is genetic or caused by an unhealthy lifestyle, like no exercise, unhealthy diet, but that has to be like a lifelong thing, that comes in the early 50s. So diabetes is not a sugar thing, it is more of a hormonal thing. Insulin and glucagon are hormones that regulate our blood sugar.
So people, please do a little research because for those who have diabetes, this type of ignorance is really irritating.
