Post-harvest trainings: Drying fish over water

In this video we learn the benefits of using the space above coastal waters for drying fish.

This video it is part of a series created to promote peer-to-peer learning. The videos can be used as training tools to help share knowledge and learning on improved post-harvest practices in small-scale fishing communities.

The videos, filmed in The Philippines, Madagascar and Indonesia, in 2023, were created under the FAO project “Implementing the Small-Scale Fisheries Guidelines for gender-equitable and climate-resilient food systems and livelihoods” in support of the implementation of the Voluntary Guidelines for Securing Sustainable Small-Scale Fisheries in the Context of Food Security and Poverty Eradication (SSF Guidelines).
