I think my Dad came up with something like this when he was working as a mechanic at a service station back in the "60s. He was trying to remove a carburetor and made up a jig with some angle iron, gears and bicycle chain. Cut time on the job by 80%. If he had patented it, he would have made a mint.

I work on everything from lawnmowers, snowmobiles, cars and trucks and I can’t think of a single time where this thing would have been needed.

I have this product made by a different company from about 20 some years ago . They were great for the short time they worked . They jammed and broke quite easily .This version appears to be quite large and woukd be difficult to use in a tight area.

I literally invented this tool in the 90’s. The company that calls themselves the, “Invention Submission Corporation” stole this idea from me. It was originally named the “Squeeze Wrench” as I had designed it to squeeze into tight spaces. That’s alright tho because I hadn’t given them all my ideas.

Love the design but if you found a way to make it a little flexible while remaining robust, i could see that really adding to the helpfulness of that tool.

these have existed for almost 100 years now I use one that was made in the 1960s that works very well

I have these in my tool cab, I don’t use them every day but their great when you get that one nut or bolt that’s just in the wrong spot to get at.
