I dunno if anyone else thinks this and I dont even know if it's true, but I saw a reddit post where they speculated this song was about Matt losing his father since he passed in 2022. But ever since I read that, I see this song different. Matt does an amazing job of taking tragedy and making it sound catchy while matching just the right amount of raw emotion.

Hats off to Matt, Dan and Atom, the album is insane!
That section of the album with "Shake with me", "Blood, Hair and Eyeballs", "HInterlude" and "Broken down in a time machine" is totally off the charts. 20 years from now I'll still be listening to those.
