Hello Stephen, great tutorial.. I just want to make a clarification, those methods do not belong exactly to the instance itself but to its prototype. They are accessible for all the instances because they are shared through the prototype chain.

Thank you for this great tutorial series! One question for you, if you please - factory functions have private variables through closure, while classes do not. Does that mean we should favor factory functions whenever possible and use classes sparingly? Or should we use classes most of the time and factory functions only when we need private variables? Thanks!
