Every time you want to carry your bicycle upstairs, you have to actually carry it in your back.
With this little contraption you can roll it up the stairs, without having to carry it on your back.
All you'll need is a long piece of wood board, as long as the length of your stairs, and a couple of smaller pieces to make the stops, as I show in the video.
Place the board along the stairs, at the final position you want it to be, and then construct the retainers, so that it won't slip when you put the bicycle on it.
These two retainers are made from pieces of the same wood board, with a length of 20 cm and 10 cm. Place the longer one on the bottom and the shorter one in the back, making a right angle triangle.
These two retainers will keep the whole board in place, and it won't slip when we use it.
The board itself can be carved with the angle grinder, so that it will provide grip for the tires, and also side guards can be placed along the length of the board, to keep the tires in place.
The board to be used can be 15cm wide by 2cm thick.
Additionally, I place lateral supports that act as extra retainers, grabbing on the railing, to stop the board from moving left and right, but this step can be ommited.
