So if this ball was wide hypethetically, would stakhovsky get an extra challenge?😂

NO, commentators, no need to let the line judge off because he called the ball good, it was the umpire who overruled!

Herbert would go on to win this match.

If he wins the challenge, he loses a point. If he loses the challenge, he loses a challenge

Wow that ball really looked out! I swear I thought I saw an inch of space between the ball and the line. Well done line judge.

Just be aware he's also often not very sportsmanlike on and off court - as a popular athlete and media influencer who has tendencies to bash on women and non-whites. I guess it fits the old model of the "gentleman", but I hope it doesn't fit the new model. But, yes that was great sportsmanship of sergiy. And yes I love his playing style. And yes the maker or player can be experienced somewhat separately of the play. For instance, as a fedhead, I will welcome roger's dark imperfections because his image is unreal and too correct...But when that happens, my experience of his play will change, will never be as pure anymore, will be muddied and diffuse. But that's life.

nice, but I would give much more respect if it was a key point in a deciding set :), not when you're 5-1 up first set. Actually making your opponent like you makes him softer. Just saying.
