Cleveland Browns 2025 NFL Draft news and rumors have the Browns drafting an offensive lineman with their first round pick. ESPN’s latest NFL mock draft has Cleveland taking Texas offensive tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. with the 5th pick in the NFL Draft. Mixed reviews as to whether or not he projects best as a tackle or guard

ESPN’s Field Yates on Kelvin Banks Jr.:
“Banks is my top-ranked offensive tackle, and he has excellent footwork, quickness, movement skills and anchoring ability against power rushers off the edge. He gave up pressure on just 0.3% of dropbacks this season, the best among all FBS offensive tackles.”

Unless we're getting a Joe Thomas level talent, I'd say no. If we can't get a QB, we need to select the best among Edge Rusher, Wide out, shut down corner, or left tackle. We need to get someone who will be a perennial Pro Bowler at one of those four positions. DO NOT DRAFT OL FOR NEED with that high of a pick.
