I was using my Brother printer for years with refill cartridges with zero problem… I just done the latest update and now the printer is lock… I cant even scan documents… They ask to change cartridge for genuine one!!! If i use third party part on my car, he still work!!! I’m very upset and i will never buy another Brother product( and my friend and family)...

I went all the way up to All Settings part (0.55), pressed OK but didn't go further. Nothing happened but just a beeping sound. Does this mean it's already reset and wiped?

Mined asked for a 4-digit xxxx password. My model is MFC-7860dw

This did not work. My display says PUBLIC and someone has set a password that I do not know. I need to FACTORY REST to clear this password. Your video is useless for this.
