One of the professors at IIM A happen to live in the same building as me. I spoke to him about this issue, and he told me if you've an engineering background, the recruiters don't care about it if you've justified it, because they know how the higher secondary science stream functions. Doing +2 then a gap year isn't a big impediment.

Don't be so much inside of anything
Get a wide and overall view of your life and then think that getting a pause in education will definitely not affect my living..

Afterall we are doing all this stuff firstly for getting a really good start of independent life which do not need to be looked of space between education timeline !!❤

Excellent explanation...even the question is silly, but most of them have this kind of doubt whether the gap year impact on their selection process..as on your video gap is doesn't matters only think is we have genuine reason behind the gap years.. Be honest even some may prepare for govt exams like (UPSC, Ssc )but couldn't able to clear so they decided to do mba..also..
