After a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town's hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies — and allies — from Chucky's past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll's untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster. Produced by UCP, the series will be executive produced by creator Don Mancini (Hannibal, SYFY's CHANNEL ZERO), David Kirschner (Hocus Pocus, Frailty), Nick Antosca (Hulu's The Act, SYFY's CHANNEL ZERO) and Harley Peyton (Twin Peaks, SYFY's CHANNEL ZERO). I was pissed off for a minute that they would do this to a classic (the same anger I had for the reboot) but then I googled it and they're bringing back *EVERYONE* who survived from the original movies. I'm guessing the reboot pissed off the right people

First Movie: Classic, Loved it!
Second Movie: Classic Once more loved it as well!
Third Movie: Boring AF
Fourth Movie: Different Style, but better than the last one since they tried something new
Fifth Movie: Oh God no just no but it's better than the third in my opinion since once again they tried something new.
Sixth Movie: Much better reminds me of the first Movie since it's the original concept of killer doll revealing itself til later.
Seventh Movie: Loved it once again and loved the atmosphere of the asylum and I like how there are multiple chuckys running around since that was the original idea for the second movie but never came to fruition due to budget, so I like it came full circle!
Reboot: Nope just no that's just a cash grab junk of a Movie
Tv Series: I'm highly optimistic and excited!

I'm cautiously optimistic.... the 80s horror genre was truly a work of art and real passion projects ....so it's going to be a high bar set but if they remain loyal to the DNA of the genre this will be a success if not it will go the way of seed of chucky and every film that followed that nightmare of a film

Edit: for the "this is the original haircut" "he always had it" I KNOW. I grew up with the first movie of chucky. It just now with this version that it reminds me so much of the Karen haircut.
