The Lagoon and Trifid nebulae in the constellation Sagittarius as seen thru a Takahashi Sky90 telescope at f4.5 using a Gen3 image intensifier (night vision) and a 12nm H-alpha filter to accentuate the nebulosity. Video starts out on the Lagoon and then pans over to the Trifid. Camera used is a Panasonic GH3.

No. The sparkling or scintillation is caused by thermal electrons or noise. Since the intensifier converts photons to electrons back to green photons, because the electrons are amplified, there is some electronic noise.

Is the sparkle-like effect given of by Stars(suns)?? I think but am not certain..Thanks.
