Very cool! This is something that I'm sure will become useful as I learn more about game development. Did you use a sprite for the bullet object or did you render it in Godot? I'm guessing you rendered the ship's engine trail?

I managed to somewhat adapt your code to the Ultimate Godot 4 Tutorial project, but my old CPU struggled to instantiate 30, 000 lasers. I like that it can create a shockwave effect.

thanks for the new video as always a new learning for beginners like me, ..I just wanna ask if you do not mind, ....do you have plans on adding one more projectile weapon like bow or crossbow and make an inventory equipment slot for it? that way ....we may get the pattern and make for ourselves many more projectile weapons....
