That's a really impressive trailer. Season 18 is one of my favorites due to Tom Baker's stoic, brooding performance. It's like watching a funeral for the Doctor throughout the entire season. Stories were excellent. Dialogue was terrific. Ideas were fantastic. And it was taking itself seriously as Doctor Who is supposed to be a science fiction show, not comedy. (as opposed to something like season 17 which was more lighthearted in its approach). There will never be an exit season quite like this again.

For anyone interested BBC America is showing 2 of Tom Baker's best episodes on November 27 (Friday) from 3am to 7am (California time). 6am to 10am (New York time). I loved this series. The show was taking itself serious again, as the previous year it became to satirical. A few good exceptions where city of death and nightmare on eden.

This is my least favourite classic season but this trailer makes it look great! I think I may re watch it now.
