Wenn ich in dem Video DON‘T FLY TOO HIGH mein „junges Ich“ anschaue, wünsche ich ihm alles Gute und dass er niemals „zu hoch fliegt“.

Wenn man mit Demut und Dankbarkeit durch‘s Leben geht, meint es das Schicksal meist gut mit einem.

Das waren die Gedanken, als ich den Song zusammen mit meinem Produzenten Christian Geller geschrieben habe.

When I was at the beginning of my career in 1985, I became successful overnight and I didn't know what was in store for me and couldn't even begin to imagine that my career would now last 40 years.

When I look at my “young self” in the video DON'T FLY TOO HIGH, I wish him all the best and that he never “flies too high”.

If you go through life with humility and gratitude, fate is usually kind to you.

These were my thoughts when I wrote the song together with my producer Christian Geller.
