lenovo website says the ssd will be 2242 format, instead of the usual 2280.
expect slower data rates and ssd upgrade will be more limited.

For the price they´re charging....it´s going to stay on the shelves for a long time. Don´t see myself selling my 13450+rtx3050 for sth like that for double the price. No no no Qualcomm!

these claims of how high the memory can go on these are always wrong. There's no sign of the higher memory and their sales support will not offer any dates. Lenovo shares these claims to entice people to their site, but they never come through with initial releases. Sometimes they never delivery on the higher memory.

The chip is supposed to have good Linux support, but the lack of translation layer makes me skeptical. I'm willing to give it a shot if at least WSL works with pass-through for the NPU.

Where's the 2.8K screen? (I only see FullHD on preorder).
Do you think it'll be any good for Linux? I bet what they're saying about "You can trust you won’t hit any software snags" is total BS. Apple hit a few snags with M1, and this looks kind of pathetic. It's pretty much a beefed-up Pinebook Pro (but still with FullHD screen) for >10x the price.

Looking at all the new X Elite laptops coming, they all appear to be a bit samey. Rather boring and generic. I suppose it is what they do rather than what they look like, but just saying…seems rushed and copy and paste from OEMs.
