i know im late but i actually completed dis obby with a plank too bcs i left my plank on top of a pillar during the boss battle so when i died my plank would still be there and i ran on top of the hill with my plank in my hands and jumped to kinda gain speed to get away from gramps and left my plank on top of giant me at the end of the obby, it was a great experience with a plank lol and im happy that you guys kinda did trthe same things i did
