@framelocator  the front pulley has weights in it.  when you accelerate the pulley squishes together making the surface the belt rides on BIGGER.  then because of this they make the engine so it rocks back and forth with a spring to keep tension on the belt.

Does this bike have a clutch lever and cable? I see that you squeeze something on the pedal start. I’m currently trying to get a 102 started.

Kinda hard to explain. The drive pulley runs on a variator. Try google searching Peugeot variator.

hi, i have the same moped, i bought it in pieces, managed to assemble everything but the accelerator handle, i don`t know how to connect throttle cable to the handle, can somebody send some video how to do it, please??
