Satish can you show us how we can add a control to our html page. A small login box that disappears if user is logged in and shows something like welcome user. The host page needs to be HTML.

Sure. But you should not depend on javascript to ensure the name isnt empty or the password isn't empty. You always want to validate these things using a server side language like php, because ANYTHING at the client be modified. This is also why safety is usually (if not always) dependent on your code that is executed by your webserver. In this tutorial he uses .html() for example. Anyone could change this code into something he/she wants, but theres no point because it simply outputs messages.
