Shell plc is a huge multinational oil and gas company with all the complexities of geopolitics. However Noralay I read an article written on Jan 21, 2022 saying Shell officially changed its name, ditching "Royal Dutch", which has been part of its identity since 1907, and has now possibly scrapped its dual share structure moving its head office from Netherlands to London. We've resisted Shell and others interested in fracking, hopefully we keep them from destroying our Tankwa for ever. There has been newevidence recently that the gas is not all that much or easy to extract.
