A very humble and classy person. Only a true leader would acknowledge the training staff who's been there longer than he's been alive. As a Bruins Fan, It still warms my heart to see the Love and Respect these Chicago fans have for him. You don' have to like a certain team but you can always Respect a Great Player no matter what team they play for. A team is a Team, but Great Player is always deserving of appreciation and respect.

It was truly amazing to watch Toews, Kane, and the rest of the group from the dynasty era. I haven’t agreed with the organization for a long time, and Kane and Toews were the last things connecting me to the Blackhawks. Hometown pride isn’t cutting it for me anymore, and I am leaving my fandom behind as these two legends move on. Best of luck to Toews, and thank you for an incredible ride in Chicago.

I was at his first game and the game against Colorado with the amazing move / goal. Truly sad to see both Kane and Toews are no longer Hawks, thanks for the three cups and bringing Chicago hockey back to the championship level. I hope the rebuild can reach the levels that you brought the team to, not sure that will be possible.
