the free agency I like is
1- Thomas Tatar
2 Tyler Toffoli
These Two were Former 67's and a perfect fit for the bottom core and they can be moved around in the lineup, and they have great playoff success and great for power plays and penalty kill and they have amazing speed, only downside is how many players they have right now

We need a Deslauriers or an Olivier. Hell, I'd even take MacDermid, seeing as he played for Green in the past.

Doesn't mean they have to play every night, but they're available when we need them. Ottawa has always played their best when they've had a heavy weight (McGratten, Neiler, Carkner, Kassian).

Would love to see them add 1 more bottom pair D and a bottom 6 winger... preferably some defensively responsible veterans with some grit that can help the PK

We need a legitimate fighter, not another pest like Greig or Perron, or to bring in a Nick Cousins type player. We need someone who will answer the bell when it starts getting heated to take some pressure of our captain.

You can have all the "gritty" pests you want, but if they can't fight or intimidate the other teams, theyre all just going to get pushed around, then Brady will have to finally answer the bell for them.

I have respect for Watson and MacEwan and Kastelic, but we need a tough guy who can actually win a fight and help our stars play more comfortably.

I agree Kylington is a good choice because of his ability to play both sides. Means that you don't necessarily need to promote Kleven or JBD to the top 4 when there's an injury. Though i still think shattenkirk or Schultz would be better. Kylington might conceivably be cheap enough that they could carry 8 D on their roster though.

I think 4C is going to be filled either by Ostapchuk or Jenik. Staios once called Jenik the best player in the OHL so we know he likes him. Johnson would be great top 9 injury insurance, but i don't think they can afford him. According to both evolving hockey and hockey viz Cousins has actually been kinda bad the past two years, he has just benefited from playing on one of the NHL's best teams so i would pass on him.

Tyler Boucher will not make the team, they should trade him for picks. He's cursed with injuries.
