Rockdale County sheriff's deputy hit by car, killed while directing traffic

It happened Wednesday night on Ga. Hwy. 138 at the intersection of Ga. Hwy. 212.

Damn!😣 Directing traffic is dangerous business. I used to be a traffic control specialist and I can count how many times I was inches away from being sideswiped by heavy equipment and oncoming traffic. My condolences to this man and his family 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

What do you mean you don't know if she's going to be charged anybody else will be charged.
If that's the case don't charge the truck driver that just killed the highway patrol police officer see how that go

I clicked on this thumbnail because the officer looked like Blac Youngsta …. Very sad, RIP Officer Jenkins, that 16 yr old girl will be traumatized for life, I hope both parties find pace 🙏🏾
