For those of us involved with persecution ministries we often feel we are the lone voices crying in the wilderness. That is trying to make the American church aware that we have brothers and sisters are spilling their blood in the shadow of the cross. Spilling their blood for Jesus in other nations. So I commend Dr. White for having the courage to address this issue. And speaking of the rekevance of the persecuted church to us believers in America. I pray this message is passed around. And that American believers would listen to it and realize that we have family who is suffering Christ.

The cry of the persecuted is please pray for us. And their prayer is not please pray that we escape the persecutions. But please pray that we endure the persecutions and not deny Christ.

Let us remember our brothers and sisters who are in the shadow of the cross. Let us remember them in our prayers.

Interestingly, as our culture gradually shifts to a post Christian era, are the similarities as can be seen in antiquity, or, the pre Christian era. Mainly in the outright deliberate persecution of those who followed in the path of the beliefs of the Apostles. For the 1st few centuries, it was not uncommon for Rome, THE World power at that time, to call the Christians "atheists, " for their non - polytheistic, or Greco-Roman belief in many gods. Nowadays, we who choose to believe in historic Christianity, and thus have our firm beliefs and morals, we're called bigots, haters, narrow minded, racists & all sorts of things. See how history repeats herself? Before long, if history repeating herself continues to prevail, persecutions unimaginable lie ahead. So buckle up. We have a ruff ride ahead of us. Amen. (actually, I suspect it's the next generation who needs to be grounded in their faith like never before. This is where we come into the pic.) Amen
