My Self-will fiercely battles against just letting go and trusting Him. I feel like if I'm not "doing something", then nothing is being done. Please pray that one day I will be able to truly, "Let go and let God."

Learned this prayer as a child of an alcoholic. The crux of it totally hit me when I was diagnosed with stage four non small cell lung cancer, was told I am treatable but not curable, that is when I let go and let God. The flood of peace flooded over me and all I could do was praise him.
