Bought my legion go for 450 couple months back and still have absolutely zero regrets

I managed to install SteamOS and Windows on the same 2TB SSD, with 1TB of shared NTFS volume for games which can be accessed from both SteamOS and Windows. This is a game changer for me, as I would use SteamOS whenever I go out, and reboot to Windows for Game Pass games and full Legion Go features.

The fact that valve actually made the steam OS available for other handheld, along with desktop and laptops is amazing because you would think that they would not do this for the sake of their hardware products sell, but in the same time it gives you more variety of how you want to play and work. I feel like the Legion go series is an ideal product for their software to run because if you think about it, this is kind of partially future proofing against the competition, and making the handheld’s more of an ideal mini PC like.

I was dissapointed when I purchased the LEGION Go and the next day Lenovo announced the legion go 2. But with Steam releasing an oficial Steam OS version, IDC anymore cause the power is what I need to play the games I want. Also didnt know that Legion Go packed a Z1 extreme. Woah!. So happy now!!

Probably the best device I've spent on for gaming.. I've barely used my PS5 since getting it.. got it for a steal deal of $550.. and still feel it worth it..

Would have been nice to show the gains versus Windows to encourage more people to make the switch, in addition to showing off suspend/resume which is the main reason to make the switch to Steam OS.

Open box Ally Xs looking more and more tempting the more I look at how well it scales with low TDPs paired with that bigger battery. Plus that screen and VRR display is what especially makes it for me.
I hope the new Deck will support VRR cause I feel like it's a necessity whenever it comes to playing games at a low power/lower and/or fluctuating frames. (plus I'm tired of the triple buffering input lag the frame limiter gives you, though it has improved throughout all the updates).
