How good are they against scratching, flaking. Can i get em off with a fingernail ? I need to paint few parts primed with MONTANA Metal primer... Would that be anything ?

Hey I cannot seem to get these paints to work on my airbrush (iwata eclipse). It keeps clogging immediately, sometimes cant even get one spray in..
Are my paints messed? Also what psi are you using?

Can you can recommend a good Brush on
Brass color Paint

Does the copper do well for all the brass parts (shoulder trims etc.) of the standard 'Death Guard' scheme, and can you recommend a Leadbelcher equivalent please? I have a bunch of The Army Painter metallics; Plate Mail Metal and Shining Silver are the only ones I find half decent so I think I will get some Metal Colors in and ditch the rest.

Thanks for the content!

how did you apply the wash ? just apply it to the surface, and let it try OR you also wiped it off ? great video!

What would you say is the closest leadbelcher match in this range?

Great vid! Is it just me, or does the gunmetal look more reflective than the jet exhaust?

What is the best way to protect the metallic paint? Would you use a gloss coat?

I recently found Alclad's prismatic paints clogged very badly in my airbrush. I've used them before quite successfully but only when I was a complete beginner using a very basic single-action, siphon-feed craft airbrush. I can't help wondering whether such an airbrush is more resilient to clogging than the dual-action, gravity-feed airbrush I now use.

For my project, I swapped to a non-metallic formula P3 blue and it worked great. I like their paints for their durable finish and liquid pigment which makes for very satisfactory thinning for airbrush use. I don't find their metallics airbrush well, though - I suspect these must have powder pigments that are a little big for my airbrush nozzle.

I will give these a try - your shot glass demonstration was very compelling. Vallejo's metallics are already my favourite for airbrushing but my gold seems to have badly settled. I'm hoping to get a ball bearing in as an adjitator but, if that doesn't bring it back to life, I'll try this gold - do they have much variety? - the gold is a little pale for my tastes so I'd like a richer gold. I'd also be interested in metallic colours - reds, greens, blues, etc...

Hello. Do you use te Vallejo thinner to clean your airbrush?

I find these are great unthinned on a Harder and Steenbeck Infinity 2 in 1 with a 0.4mm needle and 12 psi.

How do these work with a normal brush? I was considering gettin a few different metallics but I might get these instead.

I've got the steel in this range. The only issue I have is personal. I can't really see a difference between the different white metallics(steel, chrome, silver, etc) in any paint range other than the gunmetal/jet exhaust one looking a little darker.

I use them, they are amazing. I also brush them on, they have great coverage and finish :)

Thanks for the review. How does these stack up to Vallejo's Liquid Line: copper, gold and silver?
