Aabha Katre, the newly sashed Femina Miss India Himachal Pradesh 2024, has always dreamed of becoming Miss India. This journey, however, began much earlier—at just twelve or thirteen years old. Let's unfold Aabha's journey to the Miss India platform!

As a child, Aabha used to collect newspaper clippings of iconic beauty queens like Priyanka Chopra and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and their elegance and grace sparked her imagination. "My mother noticed my fascination with the glamorous world but allowed my dreams to flourish without interference," she recalls.

By the time she was fifteen, Aabha's vision for the future had crystallized. She confidently points to photographs of reigning Miss India queens and declares, "That's what I want to be." This dream resonated not just with her but with her mother, who had once nurtured a similar desire only to set it aside due to a lack of support. "It was as though I was fulfilling her unfulfilled dream, and she couldn't have been more proud," Aabha reflects.

Today, her understanding of what wearing the Miss India crown means has deepened. "It's no longer merely a dream; it's a calling to use this platform to inspire, empower, and create positive change," she says. Winning the Femina Miss India Himachal Pradesh title feels like a significant step toward achieving that goal, but she knows there's more ahead. "It feels like an accomplishment, but I also realize there is still so much more to do," she adds.
