I love this movie. I watched it on a whim (it's on Netflix) and it was just the soothing, wholesome, coming of age romance story that only Japan can make.

Also, she's not self conscious of her braces, but of her buck teeth.

I watched this during the dreadful quarantine, and back then it became one of my favorite romance animes. But back then it was just another romance anime, till last year where I met my wonderful girlfriend, I rewatched this with her because I said smile reminded me so much of her, and She really liked this anime too which made the feelings in my heart bubble up like soda pop
