CSW65 Parallel Event: Feminist Action for Climate Justice

At 9:00 AM on Monday, 15 March, WEDO co-hosted an NGO CSW65 Parallel event with the UNDP and IUCN, both Generation Equality Forum Feminist Action for Climate Justice Action Coalition partners.

The brought brought together the UN and CSO co-leads of the Feminist Action for Climate Justice Action Coalition, discussing their work and vision for the Generation Equality Forum. The collaborative plenary discussion focused on what feminist action on climate justice looks like - showcasing each of their initiatives, as well as an all-star panel of incredible feminists working at these intersections, and then converging around areas of synergies across our work that drive the coalition's goals through four action areas. The event built momentum and energy around commitments for each of the blueprint’s action areas, working collectively towards this transformative global agenda for gender and climate justice.
