Documentary Filmmaker James Fox joins Cristina Gomez on this episode of Shifting the Paradigm, for an in-depth interview regarding his new ground-breaking film documentary 'Moment of Contact'.
The documentary is an exposé centered on a series of events in 1996 when citizens of Varginha, Brazil, reported seeing one or more strange creatures and a UFO crash.
James Fox, who has been deeply involved in ‘boots on the ground’ UFO investigations for almost 30 years. Having four best-selling UFO documentaries ‘Out of the Blue - 2003′, ‘I Know What I Saw - 2009′, ‘The Phenomenon - 2020‘, and now 'Moment of Contact - 2022 under his belt, James has been a steadfast researcher, advocate, and leader in the UFO / UAP Disclosure movement, and is also spearheading a group of UFO Disclosure advocates with the ‘UAP ACT NOW’ demand to Congress to open up and make public as much previously classified UFO information as possible.

I rented Moment of Contact on Amazon prime a few hours before this interview aired and am glad that I did. Honestly, more than any other guest that you have had on your show, I was on the edge of my seat every time he gave an answer. I've seen all of his flims and proudly have Out of the Blue and I Know What I Saw on my DVD shelf. Moment of Contact was his most disturbing documentary because of the sheer amount of media coverage this incident originally got as well as the amount witnesses he interviewed, most of which didn't know each other.

Your questions were spot on. A few times, James had to stop and think to compose an answer. This tells me that you are asking him questions that other folks do not ask. You are asking questions that a well-researched journalist would ask. This is one of the things that sets you apart from others in your field. Which is one of the many reasons that I believe that you will be going places career-wise once you graduate and hit the road on your ramen-mobile. Keep up the great work.

-After seing that bright ufo, my parents even made a picture of what they saw, time&date... in the 70's, I was born.I had a severe bike accident.A few years ago, while driving on the highway 17 with a government worker, we both saw a huge ufo.'I belleive they'll be back as friends& galactic neibhors' soon.Thank you for this great interview James Fox! All of what we call the “paranormal” ties in together within consciousness to something that is a bigger picture. That is not to say there are not some “nuts and bolts” here, but since physicists already know there is no such thing as matter, as such, and if consciousness is fundamental (which we are on the verge of proving definitively), then it’s all within the substrate of consciousness and all tied together…and probably all normal. What if, for instance, this is just a product of the evolution of our consciousness? Meaning…as our consciousness evolves, our ability to perceive a bigger and bigger picture expands. Great stuff. i can’t believe i never heard of this documentary until james fox was on joe rogan. i loved “the phenomenon” and “i know what i saw.” this needs more mainstream attention. everyone should be talking about “moment of contact” its a must see.

Just rented the documentary on Prime last night. I’m the biggest skeptic on the planet but holy moly it’s so compelling. Very well done. The sheer number and credibility of witnesses and variety of professionals involved and then the MIB and Air Force officials surprise arrival from USA trying to silence everyone. Completely bonkers but that’s the way all previous crashes have been handled and covered up. The most important events in human history are just swept under the rug and forgotten. Very sad that very few people are making decisions for everyone.

James Fox is an icon, his 2 documentaries, I Know What I Saw and Out of the Blue were by far the best documentaries on the ufo field. He helped bring the Phoenix Lights to the public and had some interesting witnesses.
It's a lot of anecdotal evidence but there are some interesting cases. For a while the Illinois black triangle sightings by the police in several towns was a really compelling case, that was also a good doc, and then it just got lost in time.
