Doctor Helps Replaces Missing Body Parts With Prosthetics

She’s the real-life Dr. Frankenstein! Anaplastologist Allison Vest isn’t a mad scientist, she’s a medical professional and artist. She’s using all of her medical and artistic skills to make realistic prosthetics — restoring missing eyes, noses, fingers, and toes with silicon versions. Her work has been featured on the new TLC show “Body Parts.” When an 8-year-old Easton boy lost both of his ears in a dog attack in 2018, Allison made new ears for him modeled after those of a boy similar in age.

I’ve seen some of Allison’s work in the past and it’s absolutely shocking how realistic she creates the prosthetics! You truly can’t tell whatsoever. A man removed his nose and you couldn’t even see the seem when it was placed on his face!

😲😲😲OM FREAKIN G! This doctor is a GOD SEND & the fact that she's so SKILLED @ what she does is nothing short of a miracle. Anybody can get some artificial limbs or body parts to help them PHYSICALLY function a lot more easier, but when you have prosthetics that look real, that helps out more MENTALLY because when you look @ yourself you're not seeing something that was @ a point of time so hard to look at. You can tell that little boy was happy with his new ears & did yall catch those hands???? They looked so real that I forgot she didn't have any.

i watched the episode with easton in it, and something i just now thought about is that he’s gonna have to get new ears every time he grows a substantial amount. like how you get new shoes when your feet grow.
