You had 2 kids and an attempt at relationships with people. All the tiny doubts you had and the moments of loss and pain and the moments where you questioned your morals -- they were all moments where you would doubt whether you were a "good" person. But that doubt was, if nothing else, evidence of your good nature.

The society built around us pressures us to always make the most of every day; to be as productive as possible; to always be as nice as possible; to stop and smell the roses as much as possible; to life as long as possible. It's an admirable collection of qualities but when mixed with the chaos of real life just creates endless stress for people who have grown up believing they should be the happiest they can ever be.

There are some people who go through their entire lives wondering if they were a good enough person. And yes, they were, but they will always be aware of moments where they could have been gooder (more good I guess). And that's sad.

Playing Overwatch helps though. Also cat I guess.

hey man, do you write these with the knowledge that this will relate to alot of people? Or do you write these from your own experience, thinking if you relate to people that's a just bonus. I guess the sceptic in me is wondering whether you're an artist that hit the nail on the head or a genius tactician that knows how to make a video that will appeal to the masses, like a pop singer writes a 4 chord song. Of course if you're the latter you'd never admit it? Just tell me you're an artist it's what I want to hear anyway. Great video, inspired!

I feel like you've given us some insight into what you feel makes life valuable. If your goal was to make one think about what makes a person good, mission accomplished xD. Interesting challenge to what society presents as what a good person does, but what really matters is what you think of yourself (outside doing any actual harm or evil to anyone). It's possible to live life under the radar, do everything right, and leave the world as you came into it, but nobody can really deem a person's worth other than themselves, at the end of the day. Interesting indeed.
