You give sound advice, it's always a case of doing your homework and continuously reevaluating the situation and you are far more likely to succeed. Always look at your expenditure, ask yourself is it justified, are there areas where you can cut back without it affecting your products or services. Always look at income in relation to expenditure and visa versa and always keep a check on the margins.

Definitely target audience and advertisement are the biggest challenges for me. It is an ongoing work. I do like your idea of finding a Facebook group that is your target audience and asking them what they like. I might try that.
One can have multiple target audiences as well. I remember faintly in my memory somebody was selling some sort of cute handmade necklaces that resembled something in real life, I think they resembled food. Anyways, they found out one of their big audiences were bikers because the bikers were buying the necklaces for their girlfriends/wives.

Shipping is one of the main problems for me, I don't live in the US and the country I live in doesn't have many quality options like in the US and it makes the whole process more expensive

and who are you selling to erica? your candles doesnt seem to be specific to a certain population. are you teaching something you dont apply? I think this is why i stopped being a fan of your channel. you seem to juset want to put out a video without the old passion you used to have.
