Brand new race track! G2 Motorsports Park On Board laps

Brand new race track in Anna, TX hosted by RideSmart. We were the first motorcycles allowed at G2 motorsports park and I thought it could be helpful for anyone considering doing a track day here to see some on board footage. These aren't perfect laps and my camera screen cracked but you'll get the gist.

I point out potential hazards only for the sake of awareness. This is a track built for cars, after all. Overall, really fun, technical and challenging track. Definitely recommend it.

10 minutes from my house! Very cool to see the thing open up! Wouldn't pass any MotoGP safety measures but the smoothest track in TX outside COTA. May have to lose weight and get back into my track suit...lol

the stacks of something” are called crash pillows. they only work for bikes though.. the lack of run off and guard rails at g2mp is very unnerving

Thank you for all the great footage. Question if you would indulge me... Have you questioned, or how often do you question getting so vested in the RS? And say getting an '17-'20 R6 or comparable (as if there is)? My local track is tight and technical and am concerned with getting another RS as a track bike. I did own an RS660 street bike for about a year. The only bike I've ridden on this track (since 1998) is my current '21 Tuono V4, which is a bit of a beast for this 1.8mi track. In the market for something smaller right now, but spending 5k on top of the 10k for a used RS only to have thrown that 5k away as I'd never get that back when unloading it if I was disappointed in its performance.
