Fixing my OLD himi gouache paints! 🎨

For me, I use hot water so the gouache dissolves more easily and the clumps loosen up more quickly :)

something i like to do to keep them from fully drying is spraying them a few times before i put them away and putting cling wrap on top, or putting the whole case in a gallon size bag. it doesn’t fully prevent them from drying out, but it does help significantly.

Let me tell you a way that brought my colors back to me, first put boiling water on the stove and put a strainer on top of it and make sure that the strainer is the size of the frying pan or the plate that you put the water in and the strainer should have medium-sized holes for the steam to escape from it then put a small amount of water on your colors then put the colors on the strainer without taking them out of the plastic they are in and leave them for 10 or 5 minutes then move them to make it easier do not put all the colors at the same time but divide them for example every 5 colors for ten minutes and that is my hack 🌷.

For the palette, try a magic eraser! We used the for watercolors and they are literally a GODSEND! I assume they would probably work for gouache as well!
