I'm pretty sure this helped a lot of people, since all the other guides are always the same thing and usually the fixes are temporary. I'll be sending my laptop to a repair shop to do this for me, since I don't feel comfortable doing this myself. But thank you so much for the help. I've been having this problem for a while now, and this helped me understand the cause of this issue. If this happens again I'll replace the wifi card with a ax210. I'm really surprised how hard it was to find this information, considering the fact that this is a really common issue among laptops.

Worked. Reseated the card and one of the antena cables appeared loose. Thx man☺️

Well, yes, I do about the same thing, albeit for a slightly different reason - at one point the laptop, when turned on, says in angelic letters: "I see the comp, I will start the comp, I see the modem, but something is wrong with it, and therefore I will not start it for you."

4:59 on dell it isn't so impossible to disassemble laptops, they have normal PH screws, but HP with theirs plastic cases cannot be disassembled without damage

I had this exact issue with my mom's laptop that also has similar network adapter. Network adapter was soldered on motherboard, so there is no way it could detach itself from the socket. After reinstalling windows issue was solved, fyi those who have ultra-books. Also maybe there's a way to fix this without reinstalling windows.

The USA has a law called the Magnusson Warrantee Act that says that they can't void your warrantee if you work on your device to change a battery or wireless card then the motherboard goes. The motherboard didn't go bad because you changed the battery! They were using this tactic before this law to avoid accountability when they tried to lie about your coverage saving them money so their bonus can be even bigger than the over inflated amount's that they are embezeling from their companies resources.

I have a Lenovo Slim 7i that I use daily and up until a few days ago in the afternoon, I was not able to connect to the WiFi. I went on plenty of tutorials that suggested like updating driver, network reset and what not. I wonder if the AX211 driver is just as bad as what the ax201 is said to be. The fast start up (as of right now) was able to get the wifi working again but how long that last, who knows. I’ll take into consideration (tho may take it to a local shop) of perhaps getting into the laptop and readjust the card

edit: the fast start up off even isn't a reliable fix so definitely need to open up the laptop and readjust it.
