The hilarious moment the FAT Dwarf outran his Co-Stars in The Hobbit!

n this scene from The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, the actor Stephen Hunter, who plays Bombur, was tasked with overtaking the other dwarves while running from Beorn. Although Hunter wore the heaviest costume, he managed to outpace the others, surprising his co-stars. The reactions on their faces were genuine, as they didn't expect him to run so fast. The scene was filmed with Hunter wearing running shoes, as the shot didn't show the actors' feet. The director, Peter Jackson, was pleased with the results of the take.

The Hobbit is not masterpiece as a LOTR Trilogy, but it definitelly has a heart put into it. I still love those movies

It's unknown if Bombur fought at the Battle of Dale during the War of The Ring, even though he was canonically living at the Lonely Mountain at the time, but I like to think he did. I have an image in my head of a Bombur seemingly too fat to walk but still able to swing a mighty hammer from his carrying chair. No enemy can get past him. I also like to imagine him rising easily out of his chair, to the exasperation of his exhausted attendants, and charging the enemy lines. These thoughts please me. If I had any artistic ability I'd draw them.
